How Flex-Start works

Choose one round between Friday and Sunday.

Register and declare the tournament round before teeing off, select the games being entered, play with at least one other person, and submit only that declared round for the event.

01

Declare before teeing off

Identify the playing day and declare the Flex-Start tournament round before beginning play.

02

One posted round

Only one 18-hole round may be submitted and posted for the event, even if additional rounds are played that weekend.

03

Friday–Sunday window

The declared round may be played on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday during the published event weekend.

04

Minimum group size

The declared tournament round must be played in a group of at least two people.

05

Handicap requirement

A current USGA Handicap is required only when you enter a net event.

06

Games selected in advance

Choose every $20 game you want to enter during registration and before teeing off.

07

Cash-only entry

Pay the full entry total in cash at the golf shop before beginning your declared tournament round.

Rule priority

Event-specific rules take priority.

Formats may include additional scoring, tee, or submission instructions. The official event notice and pro shop guidance control if a tournament detail differs from these general rules.
